Your teaching experience

Each of our interns start their 5 (or 12 month) teaching position in Chile´s capital, Santiago. Your Monday to Friday will be jam-packed with 25 hours of teaching and 20 hours of traveling and lesson planning.

As an in-house corporate TEFL teacher expect to familiarize yourself with this thriving city as you take on a mobile schedule between numerous businesses. Furthermore, for every class taught a class is donated to a school for disadvantaged children. Become part of this organisation with a big heart and strong social mission.

Our 240 hour online TEFL course will fully prepare you for teaching in any kind of classroom. An added bonus is being part of an international network of TEFL teachers, your social life will be hectic! Couples and friends are welcome to apply.

Are you an experienced teacher with intermediate Spanish? We have a unique opportunity in the northern region of Chile for teachers that fit this profile and are looking for a more challenging role.

This is one of our most rewarding positions, with impressive teaching roles too!

Once your two week orientation is complete your 5-12 months will be spent in either Santiago de Chile or in the northern regions of Vicuña and Pisco Elqui.

Outside the classroom

If you seek full cultural immersion this is the right program for you. Live each day as a local Chilean as you travel around Santiago on the bus and metro. Did we mention you get free online Spanish lessons included? Vamos!

The Pacific Ocean hugs Chile’s coastline for 4,270 km, a surfer’s dream! Journey up north to experience the world’s driest desert, the Atacama desert, followed by a jeep tour to the Bolivian salt flats. Wander along ice fields on Chile’s southern tip, soaking up the history of the ships that once sailed through the strait of Magellan. Sail between Chile’s distinctive archipelago and step into a by-gone world of local fishermen living in colourful Palafitos (look them up!).

Chile is avocado obsessed, turn onto any street and see signs for a mouth-watering completo (hot dog with guacamole). Wash down with its world-famous wines or artisan beers. Who imagined life could be this good!

The cost of living in Chile is much lower than North America and Europe. Your monthly salary of 625,000 Chilean Pesos (US$985/€840/£740) will be sufficient to cover rent and daily expenses.

Our dedicated in-country team can give assistance in finding your accommodation, or you can band together with your future TEFL colleagues and take on a shared apartment. Want to speak español at home? The internet is full of home-stay options in Santiago!

Your daily traveling between classes will be subsidized, apart from your first and last journey of the day.
