Getting there

The adventure begins once you fly to Kerala, hugging the spectacular seaside city of Trivandrum. From here you and the other interns will be transferred to the beach venue. Here you will begin your full orientation and start your exotic new life in India.

What do you need to organize?

Your teaching experience

Picture yourself in the classroom, surrounded by eager and enthusiastic students, putting to practice your advanced TEFL training. And you’ll use fantastic activities like dance, cooking, music and yoga in your lesson plans.

Your typical weekly schedule begins on a Monday and ends on a Friday. With an average of five lessons per day, each 45 minutes. The time outside of class will be dedicated to lesson planning, marking and after school activities.

Your student age-group will range from 4 to 18 years, with classes divided up between young and teenage learners.



After your orientation you can look forward to the following months putting your TEFL skills to the test in any of the these states:

Outside the classroom

Get lost in the natural beauty of Chhattisgarh. Or go north towards Punjab and Haryana to discover some of the top archaeological spots such as Qila Mubarak. But most importantly, find the fantastic food to eat all around you!

Take one step further into Indian immersion with 2 hours of weekly Hindu lessons. Plus, take the opportunity to learn some of the local state languages such as Punjab and Malayalam. Another bonus of this internship is the program’s flexibility on start dates. Meaning you can choose a start date that suits your own travel plans.
