A Message From Our Managing Director Katie:
Firstly, as you are well aware by now, we are in the grip of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been a tough few weeks worldwide, especially in China, South Korea, Italy, Spain the UK, and Ireland as well as many other countries around the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those across the globe who are severely affected, and we would like to offer our condolences to all those who have lost loved ones, family, friends and colleagues.
Secondly, we want to wish you and your family well in these unusual times that we are living in at present. We aim to do everything we can to guide and support our customers in this challenging time ahead.
Thirdly, we are all in this together, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind people of the HSE guidelines here concerning social distancing and the importance of personal hygiene. We must all play our part to try and prevent the spread and keep up to date with current information from reliable sources:
How to Apply for TEFL Funding Assistance

➡ We are still committed to providing our online customer service to help you. All of our online TEFL courses are accessible as usual. You can work at your own and pace with 24/7 access to our student portal or TEFL app.
➡ Our dedicated staff are reviewing the situation every day so that we can adapt to any changes where possible. We are still available to answer your questions via phone, email, our website and across all our Social Media Platforms.
Since we are all working remotely, please bear with us, we are trying to be as responsive as possible. If you have an urgent matter, we recommend calling us for a quick response, as it may take us a little longer than usual to respond to emails.
At the moment there are obvious concerns about COVID-19 over certain countries. Still, we are in regular contact with our partners who are keeping us informed concerning the current situation with the schools. There are still some options that you can consider for later on in the year when schools will hopefully open back up again.
🌍 As you may know, despite the economic challenges and the lockdown of billions of people around the world, new opportunities are arising, particularly when it comes to online and distance learning. We are seeing a massive increase in companies that are looking to hire online teachers. Find out which companies we recommend & what you can expect to earn.
🌍 Teaching in Ireland is also a consideration as long as you have at least the Level 5 TEFL courses because the qualifications are often higher in English speaking countries. Some schools may require another type of certification so we would also advise that students do their research and check with language schools as to their specific requirements.
🌍 One to one teaching is another viable route that can be done here in Ireland or abroad – depending on your particular situation and where you are.
Now is an excellent time to look into TEFL training if you have been thinking about it previously. Lots of people will be looking to make the best of their time out from work and getting an extra training course under your belt might just be the way to go for you.
Our giveaway is finished. We had given our last 50 FREE TEFL courses on Tuesday, the 21st of April.
Overall, we have given away 500 FREE specialist’s TEFL courses!
Yes, you have heard that correctly! 500 lucky people got their free courses, plus we decided that the world was too big for us, so we have thought to look into suitable options ” we are doing ok.”
Katie, decided we should try and do something to help a charity, we kicked this around and came up with the following, what is the most precious thing that anybody could giveaway? Answer: time; community, and friendship. “Not money”. Not overseas aid, can help what we need here in Ireland. To be honest we would like everything, but it’s not possible. Let’s look after our own people, who need it as much as any bodybody
Having agreed on this, the staff have decided amongst themselves to commit to giving up 3 hours per week of their working time to visit the elderly “social distancing apply” just to chat, tell stories and be there for them. What a beautiful commitment. Tell us what you think, right or wrong?
The engagement and feedback that we have received from everyone were simply amazing! We were blown away!
We would like to thank everyone for their lovely messages and also thank people that got in touch even though they weren’t so lucky. We do want to support you every step of your way.
From us to you! ❤#
