What is an Apostille stamp?

An Apostille stamp is an official certificate, which confirms that a document has been signed by a notary public or other public official. In other words, it’s the seal of approval from a certified professional that your documents are authentic. 

Some embassies request an Apostille stamp as proof that your document is internationally authentic. Here is a list of countries where an Apostille stamp is needed and not.
