Police Certificate (12 months validity)
Flexible, hardworking and mature
International flights: Return flights are a must.
Police Certificate: Each applicant must have a clean criminal record. Enquire with your local Garda station.
Budget: Each applicant covers excursions and meals outside of school hours
Travel insurance: Comprehensive travel and medical insurance. Costs may vary.
Travel vaccines: Consult your GP or local travel clinic. Costs may vary.
Visa: Costs are reimbursed in your first month’s allowance. Ensure you prepare documentation in a timely manner to obtain your working visa.
Translation of degree: If your degree is not printed English, you will need to have it translated by the university. Costs may vary.
Legalisation of degree: This can take several weeks. Ensure an original copy of your degree is readily available before booking. Costs may vary.
Where will you be teaching?
This is a nationwide programme and all schools are outside of Bangkok city. You can request a specific location during your application process if you have one, but we cannot guarantee it.

Interview & Docs
If your interview is successful, it’s time to provide all your documents, including: degree, transcripts, police record and copy of your valid passport.

Go to Thailand
Once you’ve been formally accepted, you’re ready to go! You’ll be informed to book your flight and, on arrival, taken to your orientation.

Stepping outside the classroom, you’ll have the opportunity to experience Thailand’s rich culture. Not to mention the vibrant heritage of its neighbours such as Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia. Southeast Asia is a hot spot for authentic and traditional festivals, adventure trails, Buddhist temples, tantalising cuisine and nightlife. Why not spend your school holidays island hopping with your fellow TEFL interns? Or better yet, rent some scooters and travel along Thailand’s breathtaking coastline. If you’re considering teaching English in Thailand, this internship offers an incredibly rewarding and immersive experience. You’ll teach up to 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a supportive school environment.
Variety of age groups
Your TEFL classes will be divided between primary and secondary school students, teaching learners aged 3–17. This variety keeps every day different and helps you develop a wide range of teaching skills.
Engaging lesson style
Lessons focus on developing spoken and written English proficiency, with plenty of freedom to make classes fun and creative. Think music, film, food, drama and interactive activities that bring language learning to life.
Supported teaching environment
You’ll never be teaching alone. At least two TEFL teachers are placed in each school, with ongoing guidance and round-the-clock support from colleagues whenever you need it.
Time to plan & prepare
Alongside classroom teaching, you’ll have up to 15 hours per week for lesson planning, grading and school activities, ensuring a balanced and manageable workload.
Teach together
This programme is ideal for friends and couples who want to teach abroad together. Placements are subject to availability, so early application is recommended to secure a shared placement.
