How to Apply for TEFL Funding

The Training Support Grant (TSG) is a financial assistance program provided by the Department of Social Protection in Ireland. It aims to help jobseekers and individuals receiving certain social welfare payments access short-term training courses that enhance their employment prospects. The grant offers up to €1,000 per annum to cover training-related expenses.

Get in touch with your Social Welfare office and request a Training Support Grant (TSG) form and then contact us  01-5563038 and we will assist you through the next steps.

Additionally, other organisations like SOLAS provide funding for training courses. To apply for such grants, you must be deemed eligible by SOLAS, typically by submitting a client registration form and a copy of your RP50 form. The application involves completing the Career and Training Grant Application/Reimbursement Form and providing supporting documentation, such as a course prospectus or brochure.
