TEFL Institute of Ireland Wins Marketing Excellence Award

We’re delighted to share that The TEFL Institute of Ireland has won the Marketing Excellence Award at this year’s Waterford Business Awards, held on Friday, 14th November, at The Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre, Waterford.

Hosted by WLR FM’s Mary O’Neill and organised by Waterford Chamber with support from Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber, Waterford City & County Council and WLR, the event celebrated outstanding achievement and innovation across Waterford’s business community. With 17 awards presented on the night, we were incredibly proud to be recognised among such an inspiring group of organisations.

The award acknowledges the creativity, strategy and impact behind our marketing efforts over the past year—particularly our TEFL Institute Birthday Campaign, which became one of our most successful initiatives to date.

The birthday campaign was designed not just as a celebration, but as a way to connect more meaningfully with our audience. Through bold storytelling, strong visual identity, community engagement and strategic promotions, the campaign generated exceptional interest, record participation and a marked uplift in student enrolments.
