Programme Details
6 or 9-month teaching placement in a private language school
Earn up to €1,000–€1,200 per month (hours vary during training)
120-Hour Advanced TEFL Course, plus specialist courses in Advanced Grammar and Business English
Welcome orientation in Florence with hotel stay included
Online onboarding with our in-country advisor, plus interview and demo lesson training
Relocation and accommodation guidance provided
Ongoing in-school training and support to build confidence

Aged between 21-62
Native English speaker
Passport holder from Ireland
TEFL qualified (included)
Leaving certificate or higher

6 months of teaching or training experience (informal in-person or online tutoring experience also accepted)
Relevant qualification or coursework in Education, Childcare, or a related training-focused field is preferred

Flights: Return flights are not necessary
Accommodation: Accommodation is not arranged for you. Budget for any deposits and rent accordingly.
Budget: Budget for the first three months as teaching hours may be lower while you are being trained

Placements are available in two locations: Rome and Naples. Please note: preferred locations are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and hiring criteria.

Send your video to the In-country Coordinator for feedback and guidance (you’ll have up to two attempts).
Final demo lesson review
Your updated demo lesson will then be shared with the Academic Director.
Formal interview
A final conversation with the Academic Director to talk through the role and next steps.
Welcome aboard!
Successful candidates will receive an official offer from the Academic Director.
Outside The Classroom

You’ll be living independently, and there’s nothing you can’t do during your time in “Bel Paese” (beautiful country). What's inside?
Your teaching experience
You'll take on the role of classroom leader for 15-30 hours per week. You'll teach four evenings per week and Saturday mornings. The rest of your hours will be scheduled around this teaching timetable.
