Where will you be teaching?
Regarding placement locations, the vast majority of placements are in the capital city of Phnom Penh and the second largest city of Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat, one of the world's most majestic ancient cities and a top-rated tourist destination. In total 5 locations: Phnom Penh Siem Reap Serei Saophoan Battambang Krong Poi Pet. You are welcome to put down your preference during the application process, but we cannot guarantee it.

If your interview is successful, it’s time to provide all your documents, including your degree if you hold one, a police record, and a copy of your valid passport.

Your Teaching Experience
Whether you’re a first-time or experienced teacher, the 120-Hour Advanced International TEFL Course prepares you to teach English confidently in Cambodia, covering all essential teaching skills and methodologies.
Balanced working week
Your working timetable will be approximately 30 hours per week, divided between classroom teaching, lesson planning and grading, allowing for a well-structured and manageable workload.
School placement options
You’ll have the opportunity to teach in Cambodian language schools and private schools, with teaching schedules varying depending on the type of school.
Flexible teaching schedules
Language schools are typically busiest on weekends, meaning you may teach on Saturdays and Sundays with time off during the week. Private schools usually run Monday to Friday, allowing for weekends off. This flexibility lets you choose a schedule that suits your lifestyle.
Learner focused classrooms
You’ll mainly teach young learners, with some opportunities to teach high school students. Class sizes are usually 15–25 students, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Curriculum support
You’ll be provided with a structured English teaching curriculum, ensuring clear guidance while still allowing room for creativity in your lessons.
