Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation)
Ofqual formally recognises Awarding Organisations and regulates qualifications, examinations, and assessments. Ofqual has approved Highfield, the Awarding Organisation (AO), to provide regulated qualifications in multiple sectors, including Education and Training.

AQC (Approved Quality Curriculum)
Is a distinguished status awarded by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), a leading accrediting agency based in the United States. DEAC is renowned for setting high standards in distance education, and its AQC designation signifies that a program or course has met its rigorous quality benchmarks. At The TEFL Institute, we are proud to announce that our Level 5 TEFL Courses have achieved AQC approval from DEAC. This recognition demonstrates that our curriculum, assessments, and teaching standards are fully aligned with the expectations of US educational authorities. CPD (Continuous Professional Development)
CPD accreditation is a process through which organisations or activities are officially recognised for providing educational experiences that enhance professional skills and knowledge. CPD accreditation ensures that the learning activities meet specific standards and contribute to ongoing professional growth. Professionals engage in CPD to stay updated in their fields, fulfil requirements for career advancement, and maintain industry standards. Accreditation can apply to various sectors, including healthcare, education, business, and engineering, and often involves a structured approach with measurable learning outcomes.

OTCAC: The Online Teaching Course Accreditation Committee is a UK based independent accreditor of online courses. To hold accreditation a provider is assessed against published standards and reassessed to keep it. Our courses are also CPD accredited through The CPD Group, with each course listed publicly on The CPD Register.
